My name is Tracy Weber, and I look forward to working with you as you embark on your study abroad journey! As the College鈥檚 Director of Global Education, I am responsible for undergraduate study abroad, international exchange agreements, and thinking strategically about global education at the College. Previously I developed and managed study abroad and global internship programs at University of California Berkeley and the George Washington University, where I launched their London Study Center. I have worked with incoming international scholars through the Fulbright and Sister City programs, and studied abroad in Switzerland and Russia. I also spent three years in Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET) and upon my return to the U.S. served in the political section of the Japanese Embassy in Washington D.C. I hold a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in International Communication from American University鈥檚 School of International Service. In addition to my professional interests in intercultural communication, peace and conflict resolution, and international education, I love modern art, being out in nature 鈥 hiking, kayaking, swimming 鈥 and cooking, in particular exploring recipes from my grandmother鈥檚 native Finland.

My name is Gabby Sugarman (she/her) and I am the Program Coordinator of Global Education here at 91直播. My role's main focus is in study abroad, including student advising, organizing workshops and events, and supervising our Study Abroad Student Coordinators. Prior to my current role, I was a middle and high school French teacher and led annual student trips to Quebec. Bryn Mawr also happens to be my alma mater, where I graduated with my B.A./M.A. in French and Francophone Studies. As a student, I had the opportunity to study abroad twice through APA Paris and the Institut d'Avignon. When not at work, I enjoy making art, cooking, spending time in nature, reading, and hanging out with my cat, 础尘茅濒颈别.

Abroad In: Dunedin, New Zealand
Walk-In Hours: Wednesdays 3-5pm, Fridays 2-4pm
Hello! My name is Jeanne Hardy (she/her), and I am a senior math major and data science minor. Last fall (Fall 2025), I studied abroad at University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I decided to take classes that focused on New Zealand's unique environment and culture, which included Marine Science, Geology, and M膩ori studies, an overview of the indigenous people of New Zealand and their history. During my free time I explored Dunedin's shopping district, visited the grocery store at least three times a week, and took a trip to Fiji with my flat mates! One of my favorite memories was skydiving in Queenstown, which I would recommend to anyone and everyone who is willing to do it! I am super excited to serve as a study abroad student coordinator and please feel free to reach out to me with any questions about New Zealand or any of the other amazing programs we offer!

Abroad In: Quito, Ecuador

Hi! My name is Celia Huey (she/her) and I am a senior Psychology major with minors in Child and Family Studies, Data Science, and Spanish. I studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador during my spring semester of my Junior Year (Spring 2026). While abroad, I got to branch out from my major while focusing on improving my Spanish. I took courses including 鈥淗istoria Oral en la Amazonia鈥 (Oral Histories of the Amazon) that allowed me to do fieldwork in the Amazon, and a community-based learning class that allowed me to do volunteer work in a daycare in Ecuador. I spent my free time exploring the amazing markets in Quito, trying lots of new foods with my host family, and going on exploring the incredible hikes and nature Ecuador has to offer! I am very excited to be a study abroad student coordinator this year and to help others on their study abroad journey and share more about my experience abroad! I am looking forward to meeting you all during my office hours!
Sophia Kim

Hi! My name is Sophia Kim (she/her), and I am a senior Neuroscience major with a minor in Health Studies. During my spring semester of Junior Year (Spring 2026), I studied abroad at King鈥檚 College London. While abroad, I had the opportunity to take courses within my field of interest, including 鈥淢edical Microbiology鈥 and 鈥淧olitics of Life and Death鈥, allowing me to expand my knowledge in a more independent academic setting and spark an interest in their graduate studies as well! Aside from my classes, I spent a lot of my time journaling and walking around London鈥檚 Royal Parks when the sun was out, visiting free art museums, traveling around Europe with friends, and trying out new cafes and bakeries in the city! I am so excited to be a study abroad student coordinator this year and to share my experience abroad, so please feel free to stop by my office hours anytime!
